Last night, we teamed up with First Commits to co-host our first dinner together for founding engineers at Penny Roma. We shared honest conversations and real stories about turning pitch decks into working products. We were joined by startups including Worktrace AI, Tightrope, Exa, Coval, Paramark, Simile, Console, Casca, Soma and Corridor. Special thanks to William Namen and Sujay Khandekar from First Commits for co-hosting a great evening.
About us
At LangChain, our mission is to make intelligent agents ubiquitous. We build the foundation for agent engineering in the real world, helping developers move from prototypes to production-ready AI agents that teams can rely on. What began as widely adopted open-source tools has grown into a platform for building, evaluating, deploying, and operating agents at scale. LangChain provides the agent engineering platform and open source frameworks developers need to ship reliable agents fast. LangSmith offers observability, evaluation, and deployment for rapid iteration. Our open source frameworks, LangGraph, LangChain, and Deep Agents, help developers build agents with speed and granular control. LangSmith is trusted by leading AI teams at Zip, Vanta, Klarna, Workday, Linkedin, Cloudflare, and more.

One of my favorite features we’ve shipped in LangChain Fleet recently is the presentation viewer. Fleet agents are very good at writing code, so we thought why not have a built in way for them to design slides, and present them directly from the app! To go along with this, we're also shipping a 'presentation builder' skill that you can reference in the chat (via / commands in Fleet now!) to create beautiful slides. Try out Fleet for free today: https://lnkd.in/gS7DKhRq

New in LangSmith Fleet: Create and edit files with your agent. Your agent can now work with files directly. Create documents, presentations, and webpages inside a conversation, or upload your own files and edit them together. 📄 Work with images, PDFs, and text files. 💬 Build presentations and branded webpages from a conversation. ⌨️ Use slash commands to trigger skills mid-chat. 🎙️In the second episode of Max Agency, I sat down with Listen Labs Co-Founder & CTO Florian Juengermann Listen has figured out how to ship agents that can analyze responses at scale, and Florian’s team has made several significant architectural decisions to get there. I had many takeaways from our conversation, including: - Use sandboxes as a tool, not a home: Florian’s team only calls the sandbox when they need to execute python. He also shared the potential issues that can arise with them from leaked API keys to hacky deployments. - Design abstractions around how your model thinks: Listen’s agents see interview data as a table it can add columns to. It's just a representation on top of Postgres. The model never knows the difference. The abstraction you give the model matters more than what's underneath. The episode is out now, so give this a listen on the platform of your choice. We are only getting started with this podcast, so stay tuned for more!
