Code The Web

Hey ! It's been a while since I've posted here, or since I've written any tutorials on programming. My goal is basically to write beginner-friendly tutorials that don't use complex language or technical jargon. Let me know if I'm not staying true to that!
This tutorial is about localStorage, which for those of you who haven't used it before, is a way of saving data that doesn't go away when the page reloads and can be accessed from any page on your website. Here's the link:
Also, I should address that I've recently added one advertisement per page to the website. I know that this may upset some of you, but just know that money is not the primary motive. I love getting messages from people every few weeks letting me know how much my articles have helped them. That's the main motive here. To be completely transparent, I currently make $10-15 per month from ads. The ads aren't intrusive and they don't use any cookies or track you :)
Hey everyone! I'm the guy who wrote those tutorials on HTML about a year ago, and got . (thanks everyone 😇)
In June of 2018 I took a break from writing new articles for Code The Web. But I couldn't resist and now I'm back writing them! I write them because I genuinely love seeing when they help real people out there, not because I want to make loads of money (although I'm currently experimenting with small controlled ads to find a way to make this sustainable)
So here's the first article that I've done since then. I'm feeling a bit rusty but hopefully I'll get back into the swing of things soon! Have a read and tell me what you think 😊 (feedback = awesome)
