{Chain}-of-Thought: An Applied AI x Web3 Hackathon and Summit Series

Welcome to the inaugural episode of "{Chain}-of-Thought," a hackathon & summit series dedicated to exploring and harnessing the potential of AI x Web3. This groundbreaking experiment delves into practical applications at the intersection of artificial intelligence and blockchain, going beyond common use cases and theory to address real-world challenges. By bringing together two revolutionary fields in the tech industry through research initiatives, hackathons, and events, we empower participants to explore the boundless potential of this fusion.

✨ Research-focused

We've curated an immersive experience designed to ignite creativity and industry discourse. We introduce track-based 'Ideation & Brainstorming Workshops' to guide exploration, technical 'Tooling Teach-ins' to supercharge building, and 'Mentor Office Hours' to fuel the sprint! We‘ve also prepared an enlightening evening discussion with industry leaders who are at the forefront of integrating AI with Web3. Speakers include: Vitalik Buterin, Illia Polosukhin, Sandeep Nailwal, Sreeram Kannan.

Main Theme: Autonomous Agent

Explore how autonomous agents can revolutionize Web3 transactions, governance, and asset management through oracles and dApps, while incentivized by tokenomics to contribute to network health and task completion.

    1. Smart Contract Interaction: Agents transact, DeFi, and manage assets via blockchain smart contracts.

    2. DAOs: Agents automate roles in decentralized governance, voting, and resource management.

    3. Oracles: Agents utilize real-world data from oracles for informed blockchain decisions, adapting strategies as necessary.

    4. DApps: Agents engage in automated trading, liquidity provision, and multi-chain asset management.

    5. Tokenomics: Agents are incentivized by tokens to contribute to networks and fulfill tasks.

This event features hacking focused on four tracks: Compute & Model, Tokenized AI Economy & Finance, Creative AI, and Collective Governance.

Event Details:

For optimal submission quality, we urge builders to bring forth their most innovative ideas and commence work on them promptly. Participants are permitted to begin working on their projects as of 2/26/04.

The in-person assembly is scheduled to occur on 2/26-2/27 at the House of Transformer in Denver with the full hackathon occurring on-line with submissions finalized on Devpost.

Hackers:
  • Meet, collaborate, and form teams with other researchers and engineers

  • Participate in expert-led research workshops for ideation

  • Familiarize yourself with the emerging Web3 x AI stack and win bounties along the way

  • Work with mentors from research and industry

  • Compete for prizes (and glory)

  • Gain exposure to sector projects, industry leaders, and investors.

Please note, this hackathon is a builder and researcher-focused event. It is not for passive participation.
