<figcaption>

The figcaption tag, or Figure Caption element, defines a caption for the <figure> tag.

Syntax

The <figcaption> tag can be placed as the first or last child of the <figure> tag.

<figure>
  <img src="picture.jpg" alt="A picture">
  <figcaption>This is the caption for this picture.</figcaption>
</figure>
