Hello you!

This is my old Quilting Bee quilt. I assumed it lost in the void until I found a external hard drive that contained, among other treasures from the Internet of yore, this quilt! Most of it is left the same as it was then - including poor grammar and outdated code. I have only edited the worst of it and replaced links to my old website (rockwitch.net) with links to my current one.

I will keep this up as a homage to the wonderful place that was The Quilting Bee and as a relic of what I think of as the golden age of the Internet. At least it was for me.

For more information I suggest visiting the Q*bee shrine at Lost Letters. They have done a fantastic job documenting and preserving a lot of information about the club, it's history, and it's graphics!

Oh, and if anyone would like to trade patches, do contact me! I really wouldn't mind starting a new quilt! :D

I'm a little late, but I have managed to put together a star bottle for the Star jars activity that's going on :D My activity page is up and I'm willing to trade!
Now I just have to go find the stars hidden on the club website...

Today is the first day of Spring Cleaning Weekend! But I call it "midwinter cleaning" since spring is several months away in this part of the world :P
I've washed my quilt thoroughly and unfortunately I had to remove 19 retired bees, but on the upside my quilt is now sparkling clean :)

I've made a new patch for myself! This time I went for something a little more simple, black and white with only a few dots of colour.
Seeing as the last one lasted over a year I guess this one will be up for just as long :P

Meh... I still haven't made a christmas card patch for the activity! I've just been busy and out of inspiration. And now it feels much to late >:| Oh well, thank you all for the nice card patches anyway! I guess I'll just try and participate in the next activity.

But at least I got my irl cards posted online!

I'm recieving lots of wonderful christmas cards from all of you bees, both irl and online :D Thank you all!

I'm going to scan the irl ones and show here later on, and I'm working on my online cards right now. I'll be sending them out and put together an activity page soon.

And today I uploaded a bunch of dog patches to the free*bee's section, since there's waaaay to few dog patches for my liking ;) They haven't been approved yet of course, but they're on my gift page if anyone's interested.

Omg, the winners of this year's Golden Honeybear Awards are up - and I got two awards!!
I won 2nd place for Best Patch and 4th place for Best Quilt. It was a bit extra fun winning the quilt award because that's a first one for me, I'm glad you guys like my quilt. And my patch to of course!

I washed my quilt today. I think I removed 10 patches, and it's only been 5 months since my last wash o_O Where do all the members go!?
