I am a Staff Research Scientist at Google DeepMind, London, where I work in the Gemini team. I've been with the Gemini team from day 1, focusing mostly on reliable scaling in pre-training and recently on bringing pre-training experience to RL.
I completed my PhD in Computer Science at the University of Oxford on the topic of (Bayesian) Machine Learning. My supervisors were Yarin Gal and Yee Whye Teh.
