"Napoleon Dynamite's racism was unmistakable, Nacho Libre's less so, subverted as it is by Jack Black's comic humanism." - Ed Gonzalez

While there are a few ‘so-bad-it's-good' moments, King's foray into directing is mainly a slog. Not scary, not very funny, and with silly action, there isn't a whole lot to like.

Beautiful to look at. This movie features a quick cut to a freezer full of dead bodies that made me roar with laughter, but, yeah, no, Nightbitch is a dark comedy.

The ultimate '80s horror movie. Not because it's good (it's not), but because it's the most '80s.

Poetic parallels of human suffering and natural destruction. Humans burrowing under scorched earth while burnt, splintered trees reach toward the sky.

Pesci and Tomei are amazing and the writing is hilarious. I need to watch more Jonathan Lynn movies apparently.
