aboxsots Does anyone know why receiving a like from a WP post shared to Bluesky (domain-authenticated) would appear as a comment on the WP post itself? Would that be Post Kinds or Webmentions, and is there a micro setting to disable that from happening? TIA.
#
aboxsots In other words, the post is shared on Bluesky, gets a like on Bluesky, and a notification for "getting a like" appears as a new comment on the WP post. Not sure if that was clear in the previous comment.

aboxsots I do have bridging on Bridgy enabled. The only Webmention post type support I have checked in the IndieWeb plugin is "Posts." "Likes" has been unchecked while I get the notifications. Is there another way to prevent them from appearing as comments other than unchecking "Posts"?
#
aboxsots Under the Webmention settings>Receiver>"support for post types" there's a checkbox for "Likes" amongst others
#
aboxsots I'm not sure if that'd be the setting which would cause it to appear as a comment from a like on Bsky, though
#
aboxsots Ok, is there somewhere else I could look within the IndieWeb suite? Or is it not related to IW at all?
#
aboxsots I haven't heard of it, no
#
aboxsots Gotcha. Is there a possibility of there being a bug with this specific scenario?
#
aboxsots Ok, I see that snippet at the bottom, I'll try that as a stopgap.
#
aboxsots Not a super huge deal right now with only one here and there but could see it getting a little overwhelming with the possibility of many mentions in the future.
#
aboxsots no worries! Que será, será
