Microsoft is implementing major changes to Microsoft 365 plans from 1st July 2026 that will affect virtually all business customers.

Nearly all Microsoft 365 and Office 365 subscriptions will see a price increase (roughly 5–35%) along with new security, AI, and device management features added at no extra cost.

We want to ensure you’re aware of what’s coming so you are prepared.

Here are the key changes effective on 1st July 2026:

💷 Price increases for most plans:

  • Microsoft 365 suite prices will rise for commercial customers globally.
  • UK-specific pricing hasn’t been announced yet but predicted US prices show increases of 5-35% across different plans.
  • These changes apply upon renewals or new purchases after 1 July 2026. Customers who renew before this date retain current prices until their next renewal.

  • There will be enhancements to CoPilot Chat (which is already included in Business Basic/Standard/Premium) across Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote, to bring “a unified chat experience to help create, analyse and refine work faster”.

🌍 All organisations impacted:
