Babelize automatically scans your codebase (React, Next.js, Django and static HTML/CSS/JS sites, with Vue and React Native in beta), detects hardcoded text, and converts it into a fully internationalized structure using context-aware AI. It generates high-accuracy translations across 90+ languages and delivers everything as a GitHub pull request, so nothing reaches your codebase until your team has reviewed and merged it.

Not without your review. Babelize does change code: it replaces hardcoded strings with translation calls, adds the i18n setup, and writes the locale files. All of it arrives as a GitHub pull request (or a ZIP download for projects not on GitHub), so nothing lands in your repository until your team reviews the diff and merges it.

Most projects are processed in just a few minutes after connecting your repository. Babelize scans your codebase, extracts strings, generates translations, and prepares the pull request — all autonomously. Larger projects with thousands of strings may take slightly longer, but the process is fully automated.

Babelize supports React (including JSX/TSX projects built with Gatsby, Remix, or Astro), Next.js with next-intl, Django, and static HTML/CSS/JS sites. Vue.js and Nuxt (.vue single-file components) and React Native (Expo Router, classic Expo and bare React Native) are in beta. JavaScript projects get JSON locale files; React Native apps get them bundled into the app, with the device language picking the locale. For Django, Babelize marks strings in Python files (models, forms, admin, views) and Django templates with gettext and {% translate %}, writes gettext .po catalogues (keeping existing translations and recompiling tracked .mo files), and sets LANGUAGES and LOCALE_PATHS in settings.py. Angular and Svelte aren't supported yet, and neither are other locale formats such as YAML, XLIFF, ARB, or iOS/Android string files.
