Toulouse survive ten-man thriller

Stade Toulousain edged Exeter Chiefs 43-40 in a Champions Cup thriller despite playing most of the match with 14 men after Rodrigue Neti’s red card. Zack Wimbush scored a hat-trick as Exeter twice built a lead, including a 33-24 advantage early in the second half. Toulouse surged ahead through tries from Romain Ntamack and Matias Remue, whose second score proved decisive. Henry Slade missed a late penalty that could have drawn the match, leaving Exeter with a losing bonus point.

Connacht 45-36 Saracens: Connacht Win Try-Fest

Saracens struck twice inside the opening 11 minutes through Sione Va’enuku and Noah Caluori to take a 12-0 lead. Connacht responded with tries from Cian Prendergast, Cathal Forde and Shamus Hurley-Langton, with Sam Gilbert’s conversions helping them move 19-12 ahead. Nick Tompkins crossed late in the half and Owen Farrell converted to level the match at 19-19. Connacht had also lost Shane Jennings to an early injury, with Daniel Ryan coming on after 10 minutes, while Saracens’ Olamide Sodeke went off injured soon afterwards.
