I specialize in high performance systems programming, networking, and distributed infrastructure. I'm working on traffic infrastructure at Discord.

• Building async RL infra to distribute training, inference, and environment compute across heterogeneous providers
• Pretraining a dense 1B LLM in fp8/mixed locally on my RTX 5080 & RL'd with GRPO + RLVR for basic tasks
• AI agent sandboxing and harness design
• Experiments with pure functional programming (Lean) for robust agent-managed infrastructure
• Emulators and programming language interpreters
• Firmware programming & PCB design + electronics
• Toy operating systems and Linux kernel modules
• Minecraft server software contributions and plugins

I used to have a homelab, but it had an unfortunate encounter with water (RIP).

• LLM pretraining, inference, RL, and evaluation - particularly through an infra lens
