What is MCP?
A universal plug for AI assistants
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets AI apps connect to outside tools and data. An MCP server is a small program that exposes something — your files, a database, a SaaS app, a browser — as tools the assistant can call. Install a server once and any MCP-compatible app can use it.
