Every Stackable Block Loads Faster, Without a Slower Host or a Video Bill

Stackable makes the block editor a page builder, and each Hero image, Carousel slide, Image Box, and background video lands on your server. Infinite Uploads moves it to cloud storage and a CDN, optimizes images to AVIF and WebP on the Business plan, and serves self-hosted video from the CDN.

Stackable and Infinite Uploads: Heroes, Carousels, and Video Without the Storage Bill

Stackable adds blocks that lean hard on media: Hero, Carousel, Image Box, Testimonial, Team Members, and Video Popup, plus image and video backgrounds on most blocks and a Design Library of ready-made layouts. Every photo and self-hosted video lands on your server, and a media-heavy landing page is what drags down Core Web Vitals.

Infinite Uploads offloads all of it to cloud storage and a CDN, converting images from every block to AVIF and WebP. A self-hosted MP4 in a Video Popup or background serves from the CDN as-is, and Video Cloud handles adaptive streaming for Video Library uploads, included on every plan. Folders and search work in the media popup.

Stackable keeps doing everything it does. Every block, style control, and design renders exactly the same, because Infinite Uploads only changes where files live and how fast they arrive. A gallery-heavy or video-heavy page loads fast, and one bill covers storage, video, and CDN bandwidth instead of three.

Four Problems Infinite Uploads Solves for a Stackable Site

Most offload plugins move files and stop. Here's what matters when the files are your landing pages and layouts.

Blue icon depicting a browser window and server

A full-width Hero image, a Carousel of product shots, and a row of Image Boxes can make one page the heaviest on the site. Infinite Uploads converts every image to AVIF and WebP, right-sizes it, and serves it from the CDN edge closest to each visitor.

Video Popup and Background Video That Don't Stall Shared Hosting

An MP4 in a Video Popup or a block background normally streams from your own server. Infinite Uploads serves that same file from the CDN instead. For video visitors truly watch, upload to the Video Library for adaptive streaming.

Design Library Imports Stop Bloating Your Media Library

Stackable's plugin code includes a route that copies Design Library images and MP4s into your Media Library. Infinite Uploads offloads them like any upload, and Media Folders keep a design's assets apart from your own photos.

Testimonials and Team Photos, Organized and Off Your Server

Testimonial avatars, Team Members portraits, and Image Box graphics pile up in the same Media Library as a site grows. Sync once and everything moves to cloud storage with folders, search, and sort intact, then free up local storage.

Why Stackable Builders Pair It With Infinite Uploads

One Bill Instead of a Video Account and a CDN Invoice

Stackable has no native cloud storage or CDN, so a media-heavy site either fills the server or pays for Vimeo and a separate CDN. Infinite Uploads covers storage, video, and CDN bandwidth on one monthly price.

Move a Growing Site Without Rebuilding a Page

The first sync moves your existing Media Library, including video already on the server, and rewrites URLs to the CDN. Every Hero, Carousel, and Image Box keeps pointing at the same files, and one click restores them if needed.

Every Client Site on One Account

Agencies building on Stackable for a dozen clients connect all of them to one account. Unlimited sites on every plan, WordPress Multisite supported, one usage dashboard, and one invoice, with no cloud credentials to hand off.

What you get

Infinite Uploads logo featuring a blue infinity symbol and the words Infinite Uploads.

Image, Image Box, and Hero block images

Images picked from the Media Library offload, optimize to AVIF and WebP, and serve from the CDN edge closest to each visitor.

Works

Carousel, Testimonial, and Team Members images

Slide images, avatars, and portraits are ordinary Media Library files, so they offload and optimize the same way.

Works

Block background images

Background images set in a block's Style tab offload and serve from the CDN, optimized like any other Media Library image.

Works

Background video (self-hosted MP4)

A video background serves the MP4 from the CDN as-is instead of your origin server. It is not transcoded.

Works

Video Popup block with an MP4

The Video Popup block takes an uploaded MP4 or a YouTube or Vimeo link. An uploaded MP4 plays from the CDN as-is.

Works

Video Cloud for on-page video

Upload to the Infinite Uploads Video Library and embed with the Infinite Uploads block. Transcoded for adaptive streaming and played in the customizable player, included on every plan.

Works, Video Cloud

Design Library imports

Design images and videos are copied into your Media Library when used, and count toward storage until you delete what a design doesn't need.

Review after import

Stackable's generated block CSS

Stackable keeps each page's CSS in post meta and prints it inline, so it writes no stylesheet files to uploads and needs no exclusion.

Works

Premium dynamic content and query loops

Dynamic images such as featured images are Media Library attachments, so they offload like any other file, however many posts a loop shows.

Up and Running in Three Steps

1. Connect Infinite Uploads

Install the plugin, connect your account, and sync. Existing Hero images, carousel slides, and background video move to the cloud.

Blue play button icon

2. Upload to the Video Library for Adaptive Streaming

A background or Video Popup MP4 plays from the CDN as-is. For on-page video, upload through Media → Video Library and embed with the Infinite Uploads block.

3. Free Up Local Storage

Remove local copies once the sync finishes. Your host keeps the freed space, and files stay on the CDN.

Good to Know Before You Switch

Self-hosted video in Stackable counts toward storage and bandwidth, not Video Cloud transcoding minutes. A background video or a large Carousel of full-resolution photos both add up over a media-heavy site. Size your plan on total storage and check the pricing calculator before a large migration.

Design Library imports are worth a look before you publish. Stackable's code copies a design's images and MP4s into your Media Library, so a layout full of stock photos lands there at once. Delete the files a design doesn't use before you sync, and storage stays lean.

Stackable's CSS needs no folder exclusion. It stores each page's styles in post meta and prints them inline, and the plugin writes no stylesheet files to uploads. Background image URLs inside that inline CSS are rewritten with the rest of the page, so they serve from the CDN.

How We Checked

  1. Read the Stackable plugin source for any code that writes files under uploads.
  2. Checked how Stackable stores and prints block CSS, and the setting that controls it.
  3. Read the Design Library image route and the docs for Video Popup and block backgrounds.
  4. Matched what we found against the Infinite Uploads folder exclusions and URL rewriter.
  5. Compared the readme's free and Premium feature lists for every block named here.

Result: images and video offload with no setup, and Stackable needs no folder exclusion.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do Hero, Carousel, and Image Box blocks still work?

Yes. Infinite Uploads only changes where the images live. Layouts, carousel behavior, and style settings keep working, and every image serves from the CDN instead of your server.

Can I use a self-hosted background video without it stalling?

Yes. The MP4 serves from the CDN as-is instead of your own server. For on-page video, upload to the Video Library and embed with the Infinite Uploads block for adaptive streaming, included on every plan.

Does the Video Popup block work with the CDN?

Yes. An MP4 uploaded to the block serves from the CDN as-is. YouTube and Vimeo links are untouched. Use the Infinite Uploads block when you want adaptive streaming.

What happens to Design Library imports?

Their images and videos are copied into your Media Library and offload like any upload, but they count toward storage until you delete what the design doesn't need.

Will Stackable pages load faster?

Yes. Images from Hero, Carousel, Image Box, Testimonial, and Team Members blocks are converted to AVIF and WebP, right-sized, and served from the nearest CDN edge.

Do Media Folders work inside the block editor's media popup?

Yes. The folder sidebar, sort, and search appear inside the media modal you use to add or swap images and video from Stackable blocks, not just the main Media Library page.

Can an agency use this across many Stackable sites?

Yes. Infinite Uploads supports unlimited sites on every plan and WordPress Multisite, so an agency connects every client site to one account with one usage dashboard and one invoice.

What if an image or video is bigger than the WordPress upload limit?

Add our free Big File Uploads plugin. It lifts the WordPress upload limit without server changes, and Infinite Uploads then offloads the finished file from there.
