What can I build with the API?

Generate images, videos, voiceovers, and music. Add ad analysis, captions, upscaling, or the Script Runner to connect more of your creative workflow.

Do I need a monthly subscription?

No. Self-serve API accounts use prepaid credits. API billing is separate from an in-app subscription. Create an account, verify your email, and top up when you are ready.

How are requests priced?

Self-serve API accounts use the standard Knightvision rate plus 10%, rounded up per request. Model, quality, duration, and references can affect the cost. The API reference explains each endpoint.

Can I use Codex, Claude, or Cursor?

Yes. Share the documentation links and the agent prompt above. Ask your agent to build a server-side REST integration and keep your API key in an environment variable, never in browser code.

What happens if a generation fails?

Failed generation jobs are automatically refunded. If a submission times out, check your job list before retrying: submitting again can create another paid job.

How do I get or replace an API key?

Use Get started to reach the self-serve signup form. After email verification, save your key securely. Existing partners can sign in to the workspace and issue a replacement.
