All questions- Can I pay to be featured?
- No.Not for any amount. The editor's pick is picked by a person reading submissions, and the only ranking we publish is a count of launches. Advertising is a rail in the margin, clearly marked, and it never changes what appears in the grid.
- Will you sell my email address?
- No.We use it for exactly two things: telling you when your launch is live, and sending you your click-through numbers a week later. That is the entire list of uses.
- Where are the upvotes?
- There aren't any.Every directory eventually becomes a popularity contest, a comment section, or an auction. Saying so out loud is a pre-commitment against the three changes most likely to ruin this one.
- How long until I'm live?
- Most launches are approved within 60 minutes, because a person reads each one. Submit at 3am UTC and it will be longer. Nothing is auto-approved, and nothing is auto-rejected either.
- Do I have to use all 10 words?
- No.Ten is a ceiling, not a quota. Ten words is what fits on a tile without truncation — that is the whole reason for the limit, and a finished sentence in six words is better than the same sentence padded to ten.
- Can I change my ten words later?
- Reply to the email that tells you you're live and say what you want them to be. There is no login to build and no dashboard to learn, which is deliberate — the page is yours, the editing is a conversation.
