Yes. Free includes one public project, $5 in monthly AI credits, and up to 10 messages per day with supported open-weight models. You do not need a credit card to start.
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually and include monthly AI credits. Model usage consumes your available credits. Paid teams can purchase additional credits; when available credits run out, add credits or update your plan to continue. Review your balance, costs, and invoices in Billing and Usage. No. Each plan has one price for the whole team, so inviting a teammate does not add a seat fee. Pro includes up to 10 team members and Business includes unlimited members. The team shares its monthly AI credits.
Yes. If your ChatGPT plan includes Codex, connect it in Settings → Account and choose My Codex for a project or chat. Those conversations draw on your ChatGPT plan instead of Layerwise credits and use the same project, preview, and publishing flow. My Codex works on every plan, so you can keep building even when your team's credits run out. Your plan's daily message limit still applies. See Build with your ChatGPT plan.
Yes. Apps can send sign-in codes and transactional email, such as receipts, order updates, and booking confirmations, with no email service to set up. Sign-in emails and app emails have separate daily limits for each project and for the team, so app email never blocks sign-in. Free includes 20 app emails and 10 sign-in emails per day. Marketing email and newsletters are not allowed. See Email for details.
That kind of email stops until midnight in your team's time zone, and Layerwise emails your team. Sign-in emails and app emails have separate limits, so one never uses up the other. Upgrade your plan for higher daily limits; Enterprise plans have no Layerwise email limit.
Every project you publish gets its own dedicated production database. Free includes 1 project with 100 MB of storage, Pro includes up to 10 projects with 1 GB each, and Business includes up to 100 projects with 10 GB each. Enterprise offers unlimited projects at 10 GB each. Upgrading raises these limits instantly.
We notify you by email and in the app as a database fills up — at 50%, 75%, 85%, 95%, and 100% of its limit. If a database reaches 100%, the published app is paused until you upgrade your plan or free up space, so you have plenty of warning to act before that happens.
Every project has its own Storage for images, videos, documents, and other files. Free includes 1 GB with files up to 10 MB, Pro includes 10 GB per project with files up to 100 MB, Business includes 50 GB per project with files up to 1 GB, and Enterprise includes 100 GB per project with files up to 5 GB. Files in the trash do not count toward the limit, and upgrading raises these limits instantly.
We email you as a project's Storage fills up — at 50%, 75%, 85%, 95%, and 100% of its limit. A full project becomes read-only: the published app stays online and files can still be opened and deleted, but new uploads pause until you free up space or upgrade your plan.
You can manage or cancel your subscription from the team Billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Review the available plans and limits before changing plans.
You retain rights to the content you create with Layerwise, including generated applications. The code is in your local project workspace, and you can connect GitHub to keep it in your own repository. You are responsible for reviewing generated code and any third-party licenses before deployment. See the Terms of Service.
Available models depend on your team plan. Free includes supported open-weight models. Paid plans add advanced models from providers such as Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google. Use the model picker to see the current models available to your team.
Project files and previews run in local workspaces. Layerwise stores account, team, project, billing, and usage information to operate the service, and uses service providers for hosting, authentication, analytics, and diagnostics. We do not sell personal information. Read the Privacy Policy and security overview for details.
