What does MAU stand for, and how does it affect pricing?
MAU stands for Monthly Active Users - the number of unique users who authenticate at least once during a calendar month. The Free plan includes up to 25,000 MAUs. Business Pro pricing is based on the MAU tier you choose, starting at $150/month for 2,500 MAUs, up to 100,000 MAUs. Above 100,000 MAUs, contact sales for Enterprise. If usage exceeds your tier, there is an additional charge of $0.06 per MAU.
Is there a free plan or free trial available?
Yes. The Free plan is permanent: up to 25,000 MAUs, no credit card required, with magic links, Email OTP, and Google and Facebook login. You can also start a 30-day free trial of Business Pro from the dashboard to evaluate passkeys, Phone OTP, MFA and One Tap Login before you pay.
How often am I billed for my MojoAuth subscription?
MojoAuth subscriptions are billed monthly. The charge occurs on the same date each month, based on when you started your subscription.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes. Startups and non-profit organizations receive 50% off when billed annually through our Startup & Non-Profit Discount program. For Enterprise customers or those with specific billing needs, we can arrange custom annual billing - contact our sales team to discuss.

What is the Hack Pass program for hackathon winners?
MojoAuth Hack Pass sponsors university, non-profit, and community hackathons by awarding 5-10 free Business Pro licenses to winning teams. Each license covers up to 2,500 MAUs with no expiration - winners can use it to launch and grow a real product. Hackathon organizers can apply for Hack Pass at least 3 weeks before their event.
I won a hackathon - how do I claim my Business Pro license?
After the hackathon concludes, your event organizer will submit the winning team names and contact emails to MojoAuth. We provision licenses within 3 business days and send you an onboarding email with setup instructions. You must activate your license within 30 days of receiving it.
What kind of support does MojoAuth provide?
Support varies by plan:
- Free: Standard email support (24-hour response time)

How do I upgrade my subscription?
To upgrade your subscription:

What happens if I downgrade my plan?
When you downgrade your plan:
- You'll continue to have access to your current plan's features until the end of your billing cycle
- On your next billing date, your plan will switch to the lower-tier plan

- If you've exceeded the MAU limit of the new plan, overage fees may apply
How do I cancel my MojoAuth subscription?
To cancel your subscription:
- Log into your MojoAuth account

Is there a refund if I cancel mid-cycle?
MojoAuth does not offer prorated refunds for partial months of service. Your account will remain active with full access until the end of the current billing cycle.
