We’re two designers who love making little things that make someone’s day better. For years, too many of our ideas never made it past a mockup. Too strange. Too small. Too expensive to build.
AI changed what we could make. With tools like Codex, we can follow a funny idea further, try something unexpected, and turn it into an app you can actually hold. That’s how grug came to life.
But the tools are only part of it. The care is ours to bring: the drawing, the animation, the tiny interaction we keep reworking until it feels right. Winning an Apple Design Award with grug means so much because it celebrates that care.
