For anyone wondering what to build: an open-source, federated and self-hosted version of GitHub that is AI native. PRs are for the most part replaced with human written issues, specifications and feature requests. Serves as storage for AI experiments.

I’ve gone from thinking the hype around AI is overblown to strongly feeling that the only reason the economy hasn’t crashed yet is that there aren’t enough people using modern LLMs to their full potential.

Built a video game prototype with a custom engine (based off ioq3) in an hour with Codex. Has a WebGPU/Metal renderer. Poor video game optimisation these days will no longer be a problem, can modernise old engines to use minimal resources with amazing graphics.
