Religious people all over replies acting like it's totally normal to completely 180 on your life and destroy much of what you've worked on for years suddenly because "Jesus" and it's not an episode.
It always strikes me as odd when a gleeful consumer of:
- Social Media
- Smart Phones
- Internet
- Electricity, etc
Will then see the next big technology and just say “no, this is one step too far.”
I now have a much better understanding of how the Amish came about.
I am so fucking SICK of seeing the phrase “AI is here to stay”.
We are not powerless in the face of this. We can simply reject it. We do not HAVE to accept this.
I know it's hard to accept. As a game dev myself with over a decade of experience, it's a big bruise to our egos as artists, engineers, and writers... But we just have to accept reality and the fact that Ai is here to stay. Instead of hating on it, we can use it as a companion to
