Clear answers to common questions
Pick Essentials or Studio and you get 14 days of that plan for free, with no credit card required. Your trial includes everything on the plan you chose. To switch plans during your trial, contact support.
Studio includes 500 AI credits per month. A credit is used when the Adoption Agent answers a user's question. Need more? Add 500 credits for $50/mo. Enterprise credits are set with your contract.
A Monthly Active User is anyone who signs into your app, where Userflow is installed, within a rolling 30-day window. Essentials and Studio include 1,000. Beyond that, MAUs are billed in blocks of 1,000, starting at $40/mo and dropping to $10/mo at scale.
Yes. Pay annually and you save 20% on the plan price and on every add-on, including extra MAUs, AI credits, environments and additional Product Accounts. Enterprise plans are billed annually.
You can upgrade from Essentials to Studio anytime, right from your billing page. Moving to Enterprise, or to a smaller plan, goes through our team. Just reach out and we'll sort it.
Nothing changes. You keep your current plan and pricing. If you'd like to move to Essentials, Studio, or Enterprise, please contact support.
Userflow is designed for customer-obsessed teams to use independently. While you can build flows without it, in order for your users to see your flows, you'll need to install the Userflow JavaScript snippet, which typically takes just a few minutes and may require minimal engineering help.
Yes. Userflow meets SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, and GDPR standards. Your data is encrypted and hosted on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). We never sell or share your users’ data.
Quickstart Onboarding gets you live faster, with a CSM who trains your team and helps you build. It includes a kickoff call, three training calls, and up to 2 hours of hands-on setup help from your CSM, all within your first 60 days. It doesn't cover custom code, moving content from another tool, or ongoing account admin. It's included on Studio and Enterprise, and Essentials customers can add it for a one-time $500 fee.
An environment is a separate space within one Userflow account, with its own Userflow.js token, users, analytics, integrations and data region (US or EU). All environments share the same flows and team, and you choose which environments each flow is published to. Use environments to test flows before they go live, or to run a part of your product with its own users. Essentials includes 2 environments and Studio includes 3. On Studio, you can add more environments for $100/mo each.
An additional Product Account (also called a child account) is a separate Userflow account for another product or brand your company owns. Each child account has its own flows and users, and comes with 3 environments of its own. You switch between accounts with one login, and your MAUs, AI credits and team members are shared across accounts on one bill. Using a separate child account for each product keeps its content, integrations, analytics and AI features focused on that product. Child accounts are available on Studio plans for $250/mo each, and at a custom rate on Enterprise plans.
