Auto-sync for cameras and audio
The whole shoot at once
Drop a timeline from Resolve, Premiere, or Final Cut. WaveXML lines the Zoom / Sound Devices tracks up to the picture, and it also syncs the camera footage. Then you export XML and keep cutting in your NLE. The beta is the full app — free, with no clip or feature limits.
How it works
The NLE writes XML. WaveXML does the middle. You import XML back.
Drop XML
FCP7 from Resolve or Premiere. OTIO from Resolve. FCPXML from Final Cut.
Synchronize
Match recorder tracks to the cameras, and sync the footage
Export XML
Open the result in the same NLE. Then nest the multicam.
Resolve, Premiere, or Final Cut — File → Export XML, then import the file WaveXML writes. From Resolve, export OTIO instead to keep stereo audio.
Before you export
One camera per video track. Mix on its own audio track. Don’t nest the multicam yet.
Picture
One camera per video track. Camera mics stay on — even quiet room tone is enough to match.
Recorder
Dual-system audio (Zoom, MixPre, 633, whatever wrote the WAV) on its own audio track. Not mixed under the cameras.
Export XML
File → Export XML from Resolve, Premiere, or Final Cut. Drop that file in WaveXML. Press Synchronize.
Tutorial has the track layout for each NLE.

Avid via FCP7 / XMEML is supported as a round-trip. Syncaila is the usual paid option if you need AAF.
Built for dual-system, not a generic multicam toy
Recorder on the mix. Cameras on picture. Then you nest.
Wedding / event
Three cameras, a Zoom on the mix, a long ceremony. Native Resolve/Premiere sync often drops the quiet angles. WaveXML is the dedicated pass before you nest.
Interview / doc
Boom + lavs on a MixPre, two ISOs on picture. Keep camera scratch. Mute it after the XML comes back.
You already export XML
If you used PluralEyes as a round-trip, this is the same shape: timeline out, sync, timeline in. No plugin. No upload.
