Examine the letter grid and empty slots below. Word lengths provide critical clues.
Drag horizontally or vertically to link adjacent letters. Diagonal connections are invalid.
Find all hidden words. Every single grid tile must be visited exactly once to win.

Look for letters in corners or edges with only one or two neighbors. A letter with one neighbor must be either the start or end of a word path. Trace from these constrained tiles first.
Cross-reference required word lengths below the grid. If there is a long slot (like 7 letters) and only one viable pathway of that length exists, map that word out first.
As you connect letters, ensure you do not partition the remaining tiles into isolated groups. If a block of letters gets cut off from the rest, the puzzle becomes unsolvable.
Pay attention to common prefixes and suffixes (such as -ING, -ED, -TION, or RE-). Locating these familiar combinations can quickly reveal the correct word paths.
Unlike standard word searches, Wend requires you to bend paths through a grid. This exercises spatial visualization and working memory.
Searching for hidden words under tight structural constraints boosts active recall and reinforces spelling patterns.
Since it is an exact-cover puzzle, every move reduces the search space. It encourages systematic trial-and-error and deduction, similar to Sudoku.
Wend is a daily word-finding puzzle from LinkedIn Games. Players connect horizontally or vertically adjacent letters to find hidden words, using every open tile exactly once.
This site offers free independent practice puzzles based on the same word-path rules. Our puzzles are generated offline and verified to have exactly one solution.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn. This is a fan-made practice tool for players who enjoy the word-path puzzle format.

Drag across horizontally or vertically adjacent letters to form word paths. Each open tile must be used exactly once, and word paths cannot overlap. Find all hidden words to complete the puzzle.
No. Only horizontal and vertical connections are allowed. Diagonal moves are not valid.
"Wend" means to travel or go on one's way. In the game, it refers to finding your path through the letter grid.

Unlike Boggle or traditional word searches, Wend requires you to use every open tile exactly once. It is an exact-cover puzzle, not a find-as-many-as-you-can game.
An exact cover puzzle is a mathematical problem where you must select paths such that every element (every tile on the grid) is covered exactly once. This is why overlapping paths or empty tiles are not allowed.
Our puzzles are generated using a custom offline algorithm that designs grids with balanced word lengths and validates them to ensure there is exactly one unique, solvable path combination.
Currently, we feature today's Wend Game Daily challenge and practice boards. We are working on a puzzle archive so you can play past challenges.
