The photo you see on my profile is AI generated by Magic Studio. But it is me, the way I looked before vitamin B6 poisoning and a year of suffering that completely knocked me sideways. So when I needed a new headshot, I had two options: 1️⃣ Wait until I felt like “myself” again, which could take years Or 2️⃣ Create something that reflects the version of me I know is still there but isn’t fully visible yet The tool gave me a way to show up professionally without waiting for life to be perfect again. Not everyone has the time, energy, or budget to book a professional photoshoot, especially when you’re rebuilding, pivoting, or just trying to keep up with the curveballs that life throws at us. I’ve partnered with Instaheadshots because they genuinely helped me show up like myself again. You can see your pictures for free, and only pay for them if you like and want to download them. America turns 250 this year, and we wanted to build something you could actually step into - not just look at. So we made a free tool that renders you through 250 years of American style, from a Victorian portrait studio all the way to right now. The photo above is Priya. It's one selfie, run through seven eras - jazz age, the pin-up 50s, the power-suit 90s, today. Same face every time, but the decade rewrites the whole story. That's the whole experience. Upload one photo, and seconds later you're looking at your own seven eras. Free and open, no paywall - just you, in 250 years of a shared story. Try it and share the era you'd have belonged in 👇

I'm calling it now: in (less than) two years, AI headshots are just going to be a thing people do. I love a great photography session - the lighting, the energy, the photographer who actually gets you. I don't want to replace that. But I also have two businesses, a young son and approximately zero free Saturdays to spend 3 hours, $1,000 and six outfit changes doing a photoshoot. AI headshots aren't the end of professional photography. I see them as an entry point for everyone who's been skipping it entirely. When I saw Nicole Ramirez talk about InstaHeadshots I knew I had to try them out (if you haven't seen her face on their Times Square Billboard, go take a peek!). The process was easy but one thing I'd love to see is the ability to give more specific feedback on the proofs. Like, my hair is shorter now than it is in this photo (thanks, perimenopause). Small thing, but when the goal is to see yourself in your photos, these details matter. What do you think - does this look (enough) like me?

Which picture should I use for my new profile photo? 👀 I haven’t updated my LinkedIn picture in 4 years, so it is definitely time lol If you’re anything like me and don’t love getting all glammed up for a professional headshot (plus the time and $$$), this might be worth trying. I tested Magic Studio and was honestly surprised. I uploaded about 10 photos (mostly my engagement pics 🙆), picked a style, and had new headshots in minutes. What I liked most is that you can generate them first and only pay if you actually like them. As a recruiter, I’ll say this: your profile photo does matter. It’s often the first impression hiring teams get, and a polished headshot can go a long way. Employees from Google, Harvard, and Microsoft are using it too, and they are rated 5 out of 5 on Trustpilot with over 10k reviews. If you are like me and have not updated your headshot in ages, save this post! You can try yourself for FREE using my link: https://lnkd.in/eVs7MCDU And use my code ‘Karolina10’ at checkout for an additional discount! Comment 1, 2, 3, or 4 below 🙏

A picture is worth a thousand words. Your LinkedIn photo is telling a story. When I first joined LinkedIn, I didn’t even have a profile picture. It was bland. Then I added one… still bland. Then came the selfies and random photos that didn’t tell a clear story. Over time, I realized something important: your experience and qualifications matter. But your profile photo sets the tone before any of that is reviewed. As a recruiter, I’m always focused on your skills. At the same time, a strong headshot signals professionalism and intention. It shows you take your presence seriously. I get compliments on my profile often, and a big part of that is how it’s presented. That’s why I decided to try InstaHeadshots. I uploaded a few photos, kept my expectations realistic, and when I saw the results, I was impressed. The images looked polished, professional, and still felt like me. Not overdone or artificial. Just elevated. There’s a reason professionals at Google, Harvard University, McKinsey & Company, Amazon, Microsoft, and Meta are using it. It’s efficient, accessible, and it works. They also have strong ratings on Trustpilot. The best part is that you'll see all your headshots before you pay anything. Zero risk. ➡️ If you’ve been putting off getting a new headshot, it's time to try it today: https://lnkd.in/ezq4rSdK ➡️ Use my code JoifulRecruiter10 for an additional discount. Your first impression should represent you well. 😊

I've been one of the loudest skeptics of AI. And I owe it an apology. 🙋♀️ For months, I rolled my eyes every time someone said "just use AI for that." I was protective of the human element. The realness. But then I tried AI-generated headshots and I genuinely could not believe what I was looking at. Professional. Polished. Me. ✨ Just the version of me I want the world to see. After years in recruiting, I can tell you first impressions matter, and in today's digital world your headshot is often the very first one you make. It's working for you 24/7 on LinkedIn, your website, your email and everywhere you show up professionally. When you look confident and polished, people take notice and the right opportunities follow. I want you to try this. And because I'm still me, still about making connections feel personal, I'm sharing my discount code so you can get started for less. Head to https://lnkd.in/dsVgyN-C and use code: TVheadshots10 for 10% off. And the best part? You can try before you buy. No cost, no credit card number. Just upload 10 pictures of you (yes, selfies count!) and see exactly what your headshots will look like before spending a dime. InstaHeadshots

I was ready to hate this- then I saw what it did with my selfies... My profile photo had been the same for 3+ years. Not that ancient, but not up to date either. Every time a speaking opportunity came in, I'd clock it and think- sort that out, Jodie. My blocker wasn't laziness. My husband is actually a photographer, so I know what a good headshot looks like. But booking one in just for a LinkedIn update felt like a whole thing! So I kept putting it off, waiting to attend an event with free headshots, and then being self-critical about the outcome. A friend told me about InstaHeadshots just recently, and I was really impressed... Over 300,000 professionals at Google, Harvard and McKinsey use this too. It was super easy, no time off work required and all I did was upload 10 photos of me, picked a style, and waited 5 minutes or so. When the results came back, I was very happy....Ooooh, that's me? I look like I have somewhere to be 👀 They are free to generate. No payment until you see your photos and decide to download them. If you don't love them, you don't pay. I'm not about to keep this to myself- so try it and treat yourself. Use my code "Jodie10" to get 10% off. https://lnkd.in/eC4pPDVn

I was waiting for the output and when I saw them, I screamed: "oh lala." First time headshots actually look like me. For context, I accept new LinkedIn connections based on the profile picture. That's how fast first impressions work. That's not shallow: your headshot is your credibility, your footprint, your signature on every piece of content you put out. And the data backs it: LinkedIn members with a photo get up to 9x more connection requests, 21x more profile views, 36x more messages. A photo isn't optional. It's the job. I don't always have time for a photoshoot: the outfit, the lighting, the planning, the posing... My personal brand doesn't pause for that. I've tested a lot of AI headshot tools. Tried countless self-portraits. None felt real. None felt like me. InstaHeadshots did. The realism hit differently. I'm using these across my carousels and content starting now. The best part? You see every headshot before you spend a single dollar. Love before commitment. Zero risk. 🎟️ Get 10% OFF with my code KATINSTASHOT or try it here: https://lnkd.in/djDq7wFZ ♻️ Repost to inspire others to get new professional headshots.
