Durable execution isn’t the hard problem anymore. Agents survive crashes, restarts, and the 2am failures better than anything you’d build yourself. The hard part is everything above it. Tenants who can’t see each other’s runs. A permission model. A way for a reviewer to watch a paused workflow live. Someone who can answer for the bill at the end of the month. Replay 2026 shipped primitives that close real pieces of that, from fairness across tenants to cost visibility. Some are GA. Some are still Public Preview or pre-release, which matters if you’re building on them now. Either way, the layer above stays yours to build. Full breakdown in the comments.

We design and install intelligent systems that automate complex workflows and leave our customers in control.
About us
Most teams don’t struggle with building software. They struggle with the systems behind it. Quoting lives in spreadsheets. Decisions live in people’s heads. Workflows break when someone leaves or when scale hits. AI pilots get demoed, then quietly abandoned because they never make it into real operations. Spiral Scout exists to fix that. We design and build production systems that turn messy, high-stakes workflows into something that actually runs. That includes CPQ platforms, workflow orchestration, and AI-driven automation operating inside real business constraints, not demos. We step in when internal teams, off-the-shelf tools, or standard agencies hit a wall. We define the system, make the tradeoffs early, and stay accountable through production. When the work is done, the system is yours. No lock-in, no dependency. 600+ projects later, the pattern is consistent. The work that matters is not features. It is the system that keeps running after the team moves on. Recognized by Clutch Top AI Agents Company (2026), San Francisco Business Times Fastest Growing Companies (2024), Inc. 5000 Companies, New York Design Awards Gold (2022), and an AWWWARDS Winner (2022) as well as multiple design and development awards.

Every review gate we've seen fail had the same root cause. The system paused, but it didn't hand the human anything. They had to go dig through other tools just to figure out what the agent was even asking about. A pause that works holds everything the agent built up to that point, so the person reviewing is deciding, not re-creating the work from scratch. That's the actual difference between a control point and a bottleneck. The instinct is to push toward more autonomy, or more review. Neither one is the goal. The goal is a pause that's cheap enough to run and rich enough to trust. Full breakdown in the comments.

Most resistance to a new AI tool has nothing to do with the tool itself. People are worried about looking replaceable in front of their peers, and no training session touches that fear. What actually helps: start by automating whatever people already complain about at lunch, not the part that looks impressive in a demo. And let your experts grade the output instead of using it themselves. Turns out that's both more accurate and a lot easier for people to accept. There's a third thing most leaders won't do. Kill a pilot that isn't working, say so out loud, and do it fast. People remember whether you told the truth the first time. We don't replace people. We remove the step that never should have been manual in the first place. Full post in the comments.

A workflow with seventeen steps, each 99% accurate on its own, fails about one session in six once you multiply it out. We watched two pilots run into this from completely different directions last month. An industrial manufacturer building an estimating system. A startup's buying assistant that demoed beautifully, then ignored its own tools in front of the people about to fund it. Different industries. Same mistake underneath. Retrieval is cheap now, good enough to sound right. Production needs something sturdier than sounding right: a real schema, real constraints, an agent that works inside that structure instead of guessing around it. The natural move is reaching for a bigger model. Usually that just hides the problem instead of fixing it. More on this, including the other three mistakes, in the comments.

Every inbound conversation starts the same way. A prospect wants a chatbot for their data. By the end of the conversation, they don't. What they actually want is a job done without someone babysitting it. That's a much higher bar than answering questions. The agent has to act, which means it has to be permissioned, logged, and something you can walk back if it gets it wrong. Most teams skip past the one test that actually matters: could someone look at the result and know in ten seconds whether it's right. That's worth settling before you build anything you plan to depend on. Full breakdown in the comments.

The surface area for building on proprietary AI is shrinking. As major providers tighten their ecosystems, the defining skill of a senior engineer is no longer generation - it's orchestration. We just published a 5-minute audit on the state of AI infrastructure that talks about Recursive Logic vs. Brute Force Scale, decoupling memory from reasoning (Engram), the rise of AI-native languages like Gent, how the era of "throw more compute at it" is ending and why the era of specialized architecture is here. We charge for building AI agents that make us unnecessary. Most agencies and consulting shops optimize for recurring revenue. Long implementations. Change requests. Maintenance contracts. The incentive structure rewards complexity and punishes speed. In the last year, we inverted it. Our last 5 projects ship production agents in days to weeks built on production systems. Each one came with an open source runtime the client controls. The non-technical (or technical) teams can modify workflows. Extend agents. Add new capabilities. Without calling us. This breaks the traditional services model. We saw that coming. We built it anyway because we got tired of watching AI projects stall in pilots or lock clients into dependency. The tradeoff is real. We give up long-term services revenue. What we get is faster delivery, better references, clients who actually use what we build and feel empowered by their system because they can do the work. In practice, making yourself obsolete is better positioning than pretending you're indispensable. Clients trust you more when your incentive is their independence, not their dependence. The businesses that figure this out early will own the next decade of AI services. The ones still billing hourly for AI "strategy" will spend that decade explaining why their pilots never shipped.

We’re entering an era where writing code is basically free, but shipping software is more expensive than ever. Anton Tsitou (our CTO and creator of Wippy AI), is clear about the shift, "Coding is becoming a background process. If you’re still measuring engineering value by "lines written," you’re already behind the curve." We just released a deep dive into Why Rust is winning "Vibe Coding" over Python and the "Shrinking Surface" of proprietary AI (walled gardens are coming). Anton writes about why hallucinations aren't bugs but they're context artifacts. It’s a shift from "magic" to "control." Link to the full breakdown is in the first comment.

Very excited to be partnered with great businesses and entrepreneurs like Dave and Bill. Keep up the great work.
Most travel platforms optimize for scale. We’re building one that optimizes for trust. Over the past year I’ve been part of a small, exceptionally focused team building a better way to do travel. Trustr Travel is a unique approach to finding great places to stay — one built around real recommendations from people whose opinions you value. 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐠𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐬: → Discover places through friends, family, and community guidance → Avoid the time and effort scrolling through thousands of options on the large travel booking platforms (we've all done that) → Find unique homes and boutique stays that don’t always surface on other sites 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐡𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬: → Take total control over who can view and access your property listing → Reach guests through trusted personal networks: friends + friends of friends (just like Linkedin) → Rent, share, or exchange your home all from one platform. Grateful to be working with great partners like MBED and Spiral Scout who have been with us on our journey. I’m excited to share our recent article in Marin Magazine featuring Trustr and CEO/Founder Bill Cummings. 👇 Full article below https://lnkd.in/gmfTpunc #TravelTech #HospitalityTech #PropertyManagement #VacationRentalManagement #DirectBookings #MarinCounty
