Direct owner emails, not a generic info@ inbox that somebody has to forward. Each one is checked before it reaches you, which is why users see bounce rates under 2% on live campaigns.

Live enrichment

running now

Always fresh data

We enrich on demand rather than serving cached results from a static database. Local businesses change hands, numbers and owners constantly, so you get the contact as it is today.

API access

The whole enrichment layer, behind one API call

A six-step Clay flow spread across four tables collapses into a single Mapsdata API call, and the result comes back finished: the owner named, their direct email checked and their verified number. Wire into Clay, a CRM, or any custom workflow.

Real reviews from real users

From a Google Maps search to enriched contacts, teams use Mapsdata to make local prospecting faster.

Local businesses are our bread and butter at RedShift. Roofers, HVAC, law firms, that sort of thing. I'll usually search one niche around Pittsburgh, pull the owners, and hand it over to the team. We used to lose a stupid amount of time checking websites and LinkedIn just to work out who was in charge. This gets us there a lot quicker.

I use n8n for pretty much everything, so the first thing I did was throw a Mapsdata export into a workflow. It came in clean and I didn't have to add a bunch of steps to fix the CSV first. Sounds small, but bad data turns a simple automation into a pain very quickly. I had this running on the first go.

ImageNoah EpsteinSynta

Of course I tried building my own version first. I'm an engineer. Getting Google Maps results was fine. Finding the right person and an email I'd trust was where it got messy. I ran the same searches in Mapsdata and ended up deleting my script. It was taking more time than it was worth.

Honestly we just wanted a faster way to build lists for outbound. Put in the type of business, add a few cities, and let it run. The team can check the list and start working on outreach that day. Very handy when we're moving quickly on a new angle.

ImageMax GowingField Day

The socials are probably my favourite bit. I like to see what someone is posting before I message them, especially if it's the founder. Having that beside the email saves me jumping between a load of tabs. The messages come out less generic too.

ImageFarid ShukurovSupaBird

I've bought enough cheap lists to know how that goes. You save money upfront, then someone spends hours cleaning it and half the emails are useless anyway. Mapsdata gives us a list we can work with straight away. We run paid media. A massive spreadsheet full of rubbish doesn't impress me.

We do a bit of everything at Digital ByteTeck. SEO, paid media, lead gen, automation. A lot of our clients are owner-led, so getting the owner's details in the export is genuinely useful. The team isn't digging through websites all afternoon anymore. They can get on with the campaign.

ImageWaseem MubasherDigital Byteteck

I've mainly been using it when I want a quick look at a market. Say we need the same category in Manchester, Paris, Berlin, and a few other cities. I can run that together and have it in a sheet without giving someone a research job for the day. That's mostly what I use it for.

I thought it was going to be a basic Maps scraper when I signed up. The owner info was the bit that got me. We do a lot of outreach around offers and live events, and knowing who I'm writing to makes the whole thing easier. I've used plenty of lists where you just end up emailing reception.

Frequently asked questions

What is MapsData?

MapsData turns a live Google Maps search or an existing company list into outreach-ready local-business leads. Each result can include the named owner or decision-maker, direct and business emails, direct and listing phone numbers, verification statuses, social profiles, website data and 50+ structured fields, ready to review, export or send through the API.

How can I find owner emails for local businesses?

MapsData handles the full workflow: find relevant local businesses, identify the best-supported owner or decision-maker, discover a direct email linked to that person, verify it and export the finished lead. Manual research requires checking listings, public sources and websites one business at a time. Basic Google Maps scrapers usually stop at listing data or a generic inbox.

Does MapsData return direct owner emails or only generic business emails?

MapsData returns named-person and business emails in separate fields. When supported, you receive a direct email for the owner or decision-maker, with a general address such as info@ kept as a fallback rather than presented as the same contact. Each discovered email also carries a Safe, Risky, Catch-all, Disposable or Invalid verification status.

Can I enrich a list of businesses I already have?

Yes. Submit the business name and website URL for each company through standalone enrichment. MapsData turns the list into richer lead records with supported owner or decision-maker names, direct and business contact details, verified emails, classified phone numbers and social profiles. Jobs remain visible in the dashboard while enrichment progresses, including work started through the API.

How does MapsData identify owners and decision-makers?

MapsData cross-checks identity and contact evidence across 7+ sources before export. It prioritises a supported owner or founder and can return a C-level executive, director, partner or another senior decision-maker when that is the strongest available match. The result keeps each person's name, role and contact data distinct, so your team knows who it is contacting.

What data is included with each local-business lead?

Each local-business lead can include 50+ structured fields: listing and website data, categories, address, ratings, reviews, owner and decision-maker names, direct and business emails, direct and listing phone numbers, phone-line types, social profiles and verification results. Named-person contacts stay separate from general business details, making the record easier to filter and use for outreach.

How are emails verified?

Every discovered email passes through double verification and is labelled Safe, Risky, Catch-all, Disposable or Invalid before delivery. You can filter by both verification result and contact type, including owner, decision-maker and general business emails. MapsData users report bounce rates below 2% in live campaigns using verified results, although deliverability also depends on the list and sending setup.

Is the data live or pulled from a static database?

MapsData collects Google Maps listings when you run a search and performs contact enrichment on demand. The resulting lead reflects the information available for that search rather than relying only on a cached business database. This is especially useful for local businesses, where owners, websites and phone numbers can change between campaigns.

How does MapsData compare with Apollo, ZoomInfo or Maps scrapers?

MapsData is the stronger choice for local-business owner data. Apollo and ZoomInfo focus on corporate employees, while Maps scrapers such as Outscraper focus on listings. MapsData identifies named owners, C-level executives, directors and partners; separates their direct emails and phone numbers from general business contacts; and double-verifies every discovered email. Across tested local businesses, MapsData reports 79% owner-name coverage, 62% combined email coverage and 17% direct owner or decision-maker phone coverage.

What happens if a business does not have a website?

A website is only one signal in MapsData's enrichment process. The remaining research still runs, so a business without a site can still return a supported owner or decision-maker, direct email or phone details, business contact data, social profiles and live Google Maps fields. Unsupported fields stay blank rather than being guessed.

How can I export or integrate the results?

MapsData results are ready for the next step in your workflow. Review and filter leads in the dashboard, download them as CSV or use the public API or MCP server to send structured records into a CRM, Clay workflow, AI agent or internal tool. Integration jobs remain visible beside work started in the web app.

How do lead credits work?

One lead credit covers one requested Google Maps result or one business submitted for standalone enrichment on a paid plan. The available enrichment pipeline is included, so owner and decision-maker research, contact discovery and other returned fields do not require separate per-field credits. Paid credits reset monthly and unused credits do not roll over.

How accurate is the owner and decision-maker data?

MapsData is built and benchmarked specifically for local-business owner data. Across tested local businesses, it reports a 79% average owner-name find rate, 62% combined coverage for business and direct emails, and 17% coverage for direct owner or decision-maker phone numbers. Named-person emails and phones stay separate from general business contacts, so teams can target the person who can make a decision. Coverage varies by niche and location.

Can I use MapsData leads for outreach?

MapsData produces structured local-business records for prospecting and research, including contact type and verification fields that help you build a more targeted list. You remain responsible for using the data lawfully and following the privacy, marketing, communications and anti-spam rules that apply to your audience, location and outreach channel.
