We're a three-person team based in the Netherlands, building privacy-first analytics for the web. Independent, self-funded, and driven by the belief that you don't need personal data to understand your audience.

From privacy concern to product
Simple Analytics started in September 2018 when Adriaan, a developer from the Netherlands, grew frustrated with the state of web analytics. Every tool on the market demanded personal data from visitors - cookies, IP addresses, fingerprints - just to show page view counts.
He built the first version of Simple Analytics as a one-person project: a lightweight script that gives website owners the insights they need without tracking individuals. No cookie banners required.
In 2022, Iron joined as co-founder to lead marketing and growth. Alex came on board to strengthen the engineering side. Together, the three of us are building the analytics tool we always wished existed - fast, simple, and private by default.
