Yesterday's Watson v. RNC decision helps ensure military members, their families, and Americans overseas can have their ballots counted—even when mail delays are beyond their control. Military service should never mean losing your voice in our democracy.

The first opinion is in Watson v. RNC, the mail-in ballot case. The court holds that nothing in the federal election-day statutes requires ballots to be received by Election Day in order to be counted. supremecourt.gov/opinions/25pdf…
