As many of us are now doing, I’ve gotten rid of my plastic cutting boards because they get scratched and not only do food particles get embedded into the plastic, the microplastic gets embedded in the food. Enough of that nonsense! These are NOT titanium, they are stainless steel. The price alone proves that. But they work great and I haven’t had a scratch on them in almost three months of daily use. They’re easy to wash and easier to put in the dishwasher. I hesitated to get the set of three, but I’m glad I did; I always have a fresh one ready to use. If there’s any con, it’s that they’re fairly heavy. But that’s probably due in part to a lifetime of using lighter plastic as well as my arthritic thumbs.

EDIT: There is rust developing on the board I use most. I recognize that these can’t be titanium because of the low price for the set, but now I’m even questioning whether they’re stainless steel.

wicked good what i find amazing is there is no knife drag making it easier to slice and chop it is also super easy to clean with no tomato stain of any sort i originally thought i would have to put some sort of anti slip device under it however it has not been a problem does not slip on counter i originally put a small amount of water under the board to keep it from slipping which created a type of suction keeping it from slipping before i found i did not need to i would buy it again but i do not believe i will wear this out in my lifetime it also does not appear to dull the knives any but doesn't matter if it did since i sharpen my own knives a beautiful cutting board thank you

Ok, I admit it - I have absolutely zero need for these But I wanted some space age metal in my kitchen to play with. Also, that one sci-fi novel hinted that they would be handy to have around to fix any UFOs that happened to crashland in my backyard.

Kidding aside, beyond them being novel, I'm not really sure they're any better than my current plastic ones. They're pretty thin with no edge or groove to retain liquids, so they don't seem too useful for cutting meat or juicy fruit or vegetables. Maybe crushing garlic or tomatoes?

So lots of stars for being awesome and little green men friendly, but minus 1 star for not being a good place to slice up my juicy steak.

These are excellent. I had heard how the wooden and the plastic cutting boards can harbor bacteria and may be would spread germs. I bought a few of these for my family members for Christmas plus one for myself. My daughter and I both love them. I feel more comfortable with the cleanliness, ease of washing, and safety. They were a little more expensive for their size but worth the price.

Product arrived in a timely manner wrapped in cardboard. There is a slight nick in the edge on one side that may be a minor manufacturing glitch. It’s lightweight, easy to clean in the dishwasher, no odor, and does not slip on my stone countertops. Its a smaller size and is very convenient for chopping, slicing veggies for salads and stir fries. I do see some knife scratches on the surface that does not mar the shine. I feel much better using this titanium board than using plastic.

Slick! These things are so slippery I do not see how anybody could have thought this was a good idea. They are dangerous the knife slips, the food slips, everything slips. I do not use them as cutting boards anymore

I read the review/complaints about the boards and decided to try them anyway. I bought a 13x9 inch version of a titanium cutting board after being very happy with a 6 x9 one that I use for small amounts of veggies that I put in my one-egg breakfast omelet. The 13 X 9 version is good for times when I am cutting a roasted chicken or larger amounts of veggies for soup, etc. I was tired of cleaning plastic or wooden cutting boards and worrying about getting rid of all the hidden bacteria or about particles of plastic or wood getting in the food. The titanium boards are an absolute breeze to clean…Quick and hygienic…If I feel like I don’t want the board to slip around, I can put a silicone potholder/trivet under it. I don’t generally need to do this…Yes, I see cut marks on the side that I always cut on. I save the other unmarked side for “display” if needed…Very sleek and modern looking…I don’t notice dulling of knives. If I ever do, I will sharpen them. Let’s see: possible dull knife or knife marks on a cutting board vs potential for eating plastic and bacteria…Hmmm, which should I choose?

These cuttings boards do look just like the photo. I feel when cutting meat and other foods, the cleaning up is much more sanitary than with any chopping surface. What is not accurate is the effect on your knives. I have good quality knives that hold their sharpness for a few weeks with general use. However since using these chopping boards, I am having to sharpen them every few days.
