Is there a free trial?
Yes. Professional comes with a 7-day free trial — we take a card at signup but don't charge it before day 8. Analyst monthly has a 7-day trial; we verify your card with a temporary $109 hold, released immediately and never charged. Analyst annual skips the trial and carries a 30-day money-back guarantee instead. Cancel any time during a trial and you won't be charged.
Can I trial both Professional and Analyst?
One trial per account, across all paid tiers. If you've used your trial on Professional and later switch to Analyst (or vice versa), the second subscription starts billing immediately — no second trial.
What happens on day 8?
If you haven't canceled, your card is charged for the first month and your subscription continues. Stripe emails a receipt. If the charge fails, you keep access for up to 7 days while we retry; after that the subscription cancels and you drop back to free read-only access.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade anytime from your billing portal. Changes take effect immediately and are prorated.
Can I buy the data without a subscription seat?
Yes — the dataset catalog at /data sells per-dataset subscriptions and one-time snapshots with anonymous checkout; no account required. For a company-wide annual license scoped to your product or research, email data@edgar.tools.

What are AI analyses?
