Nothing leaves this tab

There is no upload endpoint to send your files to. The encoder is FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly and it runs inside this page, on your own processor. Nobody is paying for bandwidth on your behalf, so a hundred files cost the same as one and the only ceiling is what your browser can hold in memory. You can verify it yourself: open the network panel, run a batch, and watch it stay silent — or switch the network off entirely once the encoder has been cached.

What it does to a whole folder at once

Video, audio and images in one queue: compression to a quality target, format conversion, crop and aspect changes, exact resizing, rotation, flipping, text or image watermarks, and consistent output names. Every file gets an estimated result before processing and an on-device preview after it finishes. What it deliberately does not have: a timeline, trimming, merging, or any step that only works one file at a time.
