In our North Carolina Restraining Orders section, we revised four questions for clarity and to reflect 2025 changes to the law. We also updated six related statutes on our Selected North Carolina Statutes page.

We added five crimes to our North Carolina Crimes page. We also added five tatutes and updated 15 statutes on our Selected North Carolina Statutes page.

We created one new question in our North Carolina Custody section, and four new questions in our Parental Kidnapping section. We also added five  new statutes to our Selected North Carolina Statutes page.

We revised three questions in our North Carolina Restraining Orders section and three questions in our State Gun Laws section.
