Anchor your notes to anything.

Turn any picture, map, or 3D model into a page. Drop a pin, write the note in plain Markdown, and keep it forever, on your disk, not someone else's cloud.

One contract. Any canvas.

Caspian doesn't standardize how a canvas looks, only how it links out to your notes.

Visual canvases

Navigate by clicking anchors on a picture instead of hunting through folders or a graph view.

A local vault you own

Every note is a plain Markdown file on your disk. No accounts, no lock-in, no cloud required.

2D & 3D, one contract

A flat floor plan and a rotating 3D model both plug into the same anchoring contract underneath.

What happens on first launch

Caspian asks you to pick or create a vault folder, an ordinary directory on your disk. That's the whole setup. Every note it creates from then on is a plain Markdown file inside that folder, readable in any text editor.
