By donating to DEF, you join a community united by a love for nature and Devon, working together to amplify impact and celebrate the innovation and successes enabled by collective support.
Whether you are a business, philanthropist, or individual – we would love to hear from you.
If you would like to donate to a specific project please include that in the reference by adding a comment to the donation and we will endeavour to award to that project when possible.
If you have any questions, would like to explore donations, or sponsoring specific project, please contact [email protected].

Everywhere you look there are brilliant, passionate people, working to create positive environmental change. Relatively small amounts of funding, strategically directed, can supercharge this work.

Every company depends on nature as critical infrastructure, and its loss is now recognised as a systemic economic risk. DEF helps businesses meet their CSR and ESG goals through credible sustainability storytelling and meaningful employee connection to nature.
Businesses can support us through either financial donations or pro bono skills and services, helping us direct as much funding as possible to our work on the ground.

Fundraisers are a fantastic way to get money to nature. Whether you are training for a marathon or a swim, or organising a pub quiz or a staff charity event – consider setting up a Crowdfunder in aid of DEF to raise money for your local community and nature by following these steps:
Many of us feel a deep connection to Devon, shaped by years of walking its moors, swimming its coasts, and wandering its woods. A legacy gift is an opportunity to honour that connection in the most enduring way possible.
Imagine wildflower meadows seeded, woodlands planted, ponds dug, wetlands restored – all enabled by your generosity. Habitats stitched back together across a landscape you love, not just in your lifetime, but in the lifetimes of your children and grandchildren. This is not abstract philanthropy, it is real, visible impact for nature in Devon. Unlike one-off funding, an endowment is evergreen. The capital is invested and preserved, and only the returns are spent on grant-making, giving donors a way to make an immediate and lasting impact at the same time.
