AMP2 (Asset Management Protocol v2) is Blockstream's protocol for issuing and managing digital assets on the Liquid Network. It supports tokenized securities, regulated stablecoins, and any asset where the issuer needs to enforce whitelists, transfer caps, or lock/unlock policies.
AMP2 sits between client applications and Liquid Network infrastructure. It manages wallet state, enforces transfer policies, constructs and cosigns transactions, and broadcasts them to the network.
