Quase meio século depois, como abordar a complexa obra do poeta e dramaturgo alemão?

Nesta masterclass, o encenador Igor Gandra e o estudioso Miguel Ramalhete Gomes juntam-se para falar sobre as ondas e as ruínas que atravessam o universo do autor, a partir das experiências realizadas durante a criação do espetáculo Vidro Pantera – Estilhaços de Heiner Müller.

In 1977, theatre audiences heard for the first time the astonishing opening line of Heiner Müller’s The Hamlet Machine: “I was Hamlet. I was standing by the sea and speaking to the waves BLA BLA BLA, behind me, the ruins of Europe.
Almost half a century later, how should one approach the complex work of this German poet and playwright?

In this masterclass, director Igor Gandra and scholar Miguel Ramalhete Gomes come together to discuss the waves and ruins that run through the author’s universe, drawing on their experiences during the creation of the production Vidro Pantera – Estilhaços de Heiner Müller.
