Welcome to FOSSASIA! We are happy to welcome new contributors and community developers to our GitHub organization.
Anyone can contribute to our public projects. Joining the organization makes ongoing collaboration easier and enables GitHub features such as assigning issues to contributors and adding members to project teams.
New members are also added to the Codeheat team, allowing them to participate in future Codeheat contests.
Follow these steps to join the FOSSASIA GitHub organization.
- Open a new onboarding issue: Join FOSSASIA
- Add a short introduction and tell us why you would like to join FOSSASIA.
- Submit the issue.
The issue will automatically receive the org-invite label.
Once the issue has been submitted:
-
A GitHub Action will process your request.
-
You will receive a comment showing:
- Your FOSSASIA organization membership status
- Your Codeheat team membership status
-
The onboarding issue will be closed automatically after processing.
Processing normally takes a few seconds.
