We’re building a collaborative movement to make open source software more accessible for everyone. This organization brings together leaders and contributors from the disability, accessibility, assistive technology, and open source communities to share knowledge, support one another, and turn ideas into meaningful action.
There are many ways to get involved:
- Attend the Open Source Accessibility Summit – 2026 on October 19, 2026, in Raleigh, North Carolina. Join us for a day of connection, learning, and hands-on collaboration.
- Join the Open Source Accessibility Slack to meet community members, ask questions, and find opportunities to collaborate.
- Use the Accessibility Toolkit for templates and guidance, including accessibility statements, issue forms, and pull request checklists.
- Help shape the roadmap by opening issues, proposing ideas, improving documentation, and submitting pull requests across the organization.
