Block a Pinterest profile to prevent someone from following you, messaging you, or interacting with your Pins.

No one will ever receive a notification that you've blocked or unblocked them. They'll only be alerted if they try to follow you or interact with your Pins.

If you block someone, their Pins will no longer show up in your home feed, but you might still see them in search results and group boards. Pins you’ve already saved from them will stay on your profile. If you want to remove one of these Pins, you can learn how to edit or delete a Pin.

Block an account
  • Open the profile of the person you'd like to block
  • Click   under their profile details
    • If you're blocking a business account, you'll find   located at the top-right corner of their profile
  • Click Block
  • Click Block again to confirm
  • Click OK to exit the pop-up window

    If you want to unblock the account in the future, you'll find the option to Unblock under their profile details.
  • Open the profile of the person you'd like to block
  • Tap   under their profile details
  • Tap Block
  • Tap Block again to confirm

    If you want to unblock the account in the future, you’ll find the option to Unblock under their profile details.
  • Open the profile of the person you'd like to block
  • Tap   under their profile details
    • If you're blocking a business account, you'll find   located at the top-right corner of their profile
  • Tap Block
  • Tap Block again to confirm

    If you want to unblock the account in the future, you can tap   to find the Unblock option.
    Unblock an account

    You can view the accounts you’ve blocked and make changes in your settings. To do this, follow the steps below.
  • Log in to your Pinterest account
  • Click   at the bottom-left corner of your screen
  • Click Settings
  • Select Social permissions
  • Scroll down to Blocked accounts and select Edit list 
  • Click Unblock next to any accounts you want to remove from your block list
  • Click Unblock again to confirm
    •

    Note: If you have a Pinterest business account, you can access your settings by clicking   at the top-right of your screen. Then, select Settings.
  • Open the Pinterest app on your device and log in to your Pinterest account
  • Tap your profile photo at the bottom right to go to your profile
  • Tap your profile photo at the top-left corner to access your settings
    • Note: If you have a business account, you’ll tap   at the top-right corner and then tap Settings
  • Tap Social permissions
  • Tap Blocked accounts
  • Tap Unblock next to any accounts you want to remove from your block list
  • Tap Unblock again to confirm

  • Open the Pinterest app on your device and log in to your Pinterest account
  • Tap your profile photo at the bottom right to go to your profile
  • Tap your profile photo at the top-left corner to access your settings
    • Note: If you have a business account, you’ll tap   at the top-right corner and then tap Settings
  • Tap Social permissions and activity
  • Tap Blocked accounts
  • Tap Unblock next to any accounts you want to remove from your block list
  • Tap Unblock again to confirm
