Structures-Computer Interaction Lab of UCLA reposted this
I met Boris Cherny, Head of Claude Code, at YC Startup School 2026! In the past quarters, Claude Code has become a core part of my workflow at the Structures-Computer Interaction Lab of UCLA, helping me move quickly from research ideas to real experiments. Boris’s emphasis on giving models room to play and be creative inspires me to think differently about how I can use AI as a collaborator in research. I’m excited to experiment with my new Claude credits and dive even further into how these tools can accelerate robotics. As part of my robotics research, I remember reading Physical Intelligence's VLA papers to better understand techniques for robot learning. It was surreal to hear Chelsea Finn speak in person about the future of physical AI, driven forward by her work in compositional generalization, training robots to adapt to completely new scenarios. Beyond learning from these speakers, I’m grateful to have met fellow ambitious builders. It was wonderful sharing ideas and hearing different perspectives that motivate people to create. Thank you, Y Combinator, for such an inspiring Startup School experience!
