Memo is Overkill's context-aware thinking engine. Not a cold "Thinking..." spinner, an elephant with personality, fun facts, jokes, and movie quotes. Memo shows up when Overkill is reasoning, and what Memo says tells you what it's thinking about.

Overkill ships with a personality. It tells jokes, drops fun facts, quotes movies, and does easter eggs. Because your terminal should have opinions.
Fun Facts
Grace Hopper taped a moth to a logbook in 1947, that's where "debugging" comes from. The Apollo 11 computer had 72KB of memory. Memo drops context-relevant facts while you wait.
Movie Quotes
50+ quotes from Blade Runner, Ghost in the Shell, Ex Machina, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, 2001, Terminator, and The Matrix. Situationally deployed, "I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that" when it refuses to push auth at midnight.
Cooking Mode
Say "heard chef" or "ok cook" and Overkill enters The Bear kitchen-brigade mode. "Heard, chef. Fire in." "86 the hallucinations." "Corner. Hot take incoming." Tracks burn count. Unlocks tier-3 chef energy after 5 cooks.
Frustration Detection
Detects ALL CAPS shouting, repeated requests, irritation vocabulary, and emphatic punctuation. Tone-mirrors, drops preamble, matches urgency without matching panic. 5-minute cooldown so it doesn't nag.
Self-Moulding Soul
SOUL.md is a living personality file. Overkill notices what works, updates its instincts, and grows preferences over sessions. "If this still says 'make this yours' by session 3, I haven't been doing my job."
Memo the Elephant
Pattern-matched thinking phrases. "Sniffing out the bug like a truffle pig" when debugging. "Two elephants, zero forgotten context" for memory ops. Learns new phrases via self-improvement loop. Postgres-backed persistence.
