What to Know Before You Create
Which styles accept an image?

Paper Fold starts from a PNG, JPG, or WebP. Highlight, Magazine, and Press start from text, so each style has controls designed for its source.
Where is my project stored?

The current editor keeps project data in this browser. You can reopen it from Creations on the same browser and device, but clearing site data or switching devices will not move the project with you.
Does my uploaded image go to your server?

The current Paper Animation workflow processes and stores the working image in your browser. It is not uploaded to our servers by the editor.
Which canvas sizes are available?

Choose square 1:1, portrait 3:4, landscape 4:3, vertical 9:16, or widescreen 16:9. The selected ratio controls both the preview composition and the downloaded dimensions.
How many frames can I generate?

All four styles support sequences from 4 to 20 frames.
Why might my video download be MP4 or WebM?

The editor uses the recording formats supported by your browser. It prefers a broadly compatible video result when available and falls back when the browser exposes a different encoder. GIF remains a separate download choice.
How do credits work?

Watermarked 720p exports are free. Each successful 1080p or watermark-free Video or GIF download uses one credit, including when both options are selected. Credits never expire and stack when you buy more.
Can I publish a credit export for a client?

Yes. Watermark-free 1080p exports can be used in client work, monetized content, campaigns, and other commercial projects. Your source image and text still need to be materials you have permission to use.
How does the refund window work?

An unused credit purchase can be refunded in full within seven calendar days. Email support@paperanimation.net with the account email and purchase details.
