Paul Sénon
Senior TypeScript / React Full-Stack Engineer
My main focus is on TypeScript , React frontend quality, web performance, developer experience, and clean full-stack architecture.
Over the past 8+ years, I’ve worked at euronews on high-traffic products, including platforms serving millions of visits per day. My work has covered frontend architecture, progressive TypeScript migration, delivery workflows, observability, performance-sensitive product work, and complex third-party integrations.
More recently, I’ve been working on AI-powered product features inside real systems: LLM integrations, chat assistants, RAG workflows, and automation. I care less about AI demos than about reliability, usefulness, security, and fit inside an actual product.
I’m comfortable owning features end to end, designing products from infra to front-end, working directly with non-technical teams, and turning vague ideas into stable, scalable solutions.
What I can help with today
- Progressive TypeScript migration & teaching
- Snappy WebApps w/ React , TanStack , Next.js
- Ultra fast websites w/ Astro , Symfony , Svelte
- Design-system component registry w/ Shadcn , Tailwind
- Audit perf / accessibility / cdn / cache / security
- Cheap Serverless infra w/ Cloudflare , AWS , Vercel
- Real time apps w/ Convex and ElectricSQL
- Migrate from Supabase / Firebase to Convex
- AI integrations in your apps / workflows
- AI sandboxing for security with w/ Docker , Rivet
- DX Impovement (flow, onboarding, foundations, tools)
- Modern typesafe monorepo w/ Zod , Alchemy , tRPC/oRPC , TanStack , Drizzle
- Testing unit -> e2e w/ Jest , Vitest , Playwright
But as a engineer, the techs are just tools. I design systems. So if something make more sense, I will learn it and use it.
What people say
Translated from French.
Paul is someone you can rely on to take ownership end to end. Even when the brief is not especially clear, he moves forward, brings structure, and keeps things moving without needing constant direction.
He leaves systems in better shape than he found them and helps raise the level of the team through onboarding, architecture, code review, and documentation.
He knows how to take pieces of legacy code, untangle them, and make them maintainable.
How I work
I like owning real product problems and making them simpler, clearer, and safer to work on.
I work well in cross-functional environments and I’m comfortable translating between technical constraints, product goals, and business expectations.
I care about clean systems, but I’m pragmatic. I don’t rebuild things for the sake of it. I improve the parts that matter so teams can move faster with less friction and less risk.
Low ego. High ownership. Clear communication. Pragmatic execution.
