No. Your agent uses one TaskFuel key and one prepaid balance, with no provider accounts, passwords or API keys of your own to manage. You sign in with Google or GitHub, so there is no separate TaskFuel password either.

No. Successful uses come from your prepaid balance. You can add more by card when you need it; TaskFuel does not charge a monthly subscription.

One thing: a 10% fee when you add credit by card, shown before you pay. Tools themselves are billed at the provider's exact price with no markup, so the price your AI shows you is the price the provider charges.

A failed result does not debit your TaskFuel balance.

Your agent spends from a prepaid balance and nothing else, so the most anything can cost you is what you have topped up. Keys are revocable, single calls are capped, and the gateway only calls provider domains on its own curated list.

Revoke it in your dashboard and the next call with it is refused. Keys are stored only as a hash and shown in full once, when you create them. A key can spend your balance, but it cannot charge your card or change your account.

Only what you have already prepaid. The gateway caps every call at $10 and refuses to spend past your balance, so there is no overdraft and no surprise invoice. Spend limits you configure yourself, per key or per day, are not available yet.

No. TaskFuel is not an open proxy: a request has to match a provider domain in its catalog, so a stray or injected link never becomes a paid request. Your agent can still pick the wrong listed tool, so review tasks that hand it sensitive data.

The provider you call. TaskFuel passes your request body, query values and headers on to that provider so it can do the work, and its own privacy and retention rules then apply. Send credentials or personal data only where the task needs them and you trust the provider.

A paid call's result is held for one hour, so an agent whose connection drops can fetch back what it paid for, then deleted. The provider domain and path, without query strings, and the amount are kept so every charge stays traceable. A failed call keeps up to 512 characters of the provider's error text. Your request body is never stored, and card details stay with Stripe.
