Astra is unusable because of overzealous safety checks. Apparently, any request to work on nontrivial control flow triggers safety checks and delays. Sol found a 26-line snippet from Codex’s own codebase that always triggers a safety check for me.

@fipradio So sad that there’s no longer a way to listen to FIP on HomePods. I don’t like TuneIn one bit (their ad injection is the worst), but in practice it means that many devices can no longer play FIP at all. The iPhone app is not a replacement.

So @harvest replaced a wonderful iPhone app with a cross-platform mediocrity. Killed important features, introduced a bunch of bugs, screwed up accessibility. But it runs everywhere, right?
