I had some vibes that Opus 4.8 was performing worse than older ones for some of uses that are off distribution and now I have the receipts. Latest Opus/Sonnet are causing tool invocation failures on Pi's edit tool when older ones did not! I wrote about it.

BTW if you run pi in fullscreen mode it now has a nicer looking scrollbar and a scroll to bottom indicator.

Now that the cybercab is real you gotta marvel over how tightly integrated all Musk pieces are. Starlink for comms, supercharger for charging, Tesla's AI for FSD, Grok for the cabin experience and well Tesla for the actual car. Kinda impressive.

I really think like we need to move off npm for the main pi install and it makes me sad. It now takes us ~30 minutes to get a release out because of how long it takes for npm to make all packages available.

Something is up with npm. "npm i --no-audit" is the only way in which I can install packages right now, otherwise the whole thing times out.
