EU Digital Services Act Information
Vimeo.com, Inc. ("Vimeo") is committed to complying with its obligations under Regulation (EU) 2022/2065 (the Digital Services Act, "DSA").
Service Classification
Vimeo provides a global video software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that enables creators, businesses, and organizations to create, upload, host, manage, and distribute professional-quality video content.
For the purposes of the DSA, Vimeo provides a hosting service within the meaning of Article 3(g). This means we store information provided at the request of recipients of the service and make that information available in accordance with the instructions and settings they choose.
Within the European Union, Vimeo's service is structured to enable users to upload, store, manage, and share their own video content. The service does not provide site-wide browsing, public search, curated discovery experiences, content recommendations, personalized feeds, or other features that facilitate broad discovery of content across the service.
As a result, Vimeo's service in the European Union is focused on user-directed hosting and distribution of content rather than platform-wide public content discovery or social networking features.
Orders to Act Against Illegal Content (Article 9)
Vimeo complies with valid orders from EU Member State authorities to act against specific items of illegal content in accordance with applicable law. We inform the issuing authority of the effect given to such orders without undue delay, and we aim to inform affected users about the action taken and their available options, unless we are legally prohibited from doing so.
Orders to Provide Information (Article 10)
Vimeo complies with valid orders from EU Member State authorities to provide information in accordance with applicable law. We aim to inform affected users about such disclosures unless we are legally prohibited from doing so.
More information about how Vimeo handles requests from law enforcement and authorities is available in our Law Enforcement Guidelines.
Contact Point for EU Authorities (Article 11)
Vimeo has designated a single point of contact for Member States' authorities, the European Commission, and the European Board for Digital Services for matters relating to the DSA.
The Member States' authorities, the European Commission, and the European Board for Digital Services may contact Vimeo by email at [email protected]. This point of contact is monitored on a continuous basis. Communications with this email address should be in English.
This point of contact is reserved for communications from the authorities listed above. For other inquiries, please use the mechanisms described below.
Contact Point for Users in the European Union (Article 12)
Vimeo provides accessible and user-friendly means for users in the European Union to communicate with us electronically:
You may report content that you believe violates Vimeo's policies, including content you consider unlawful in the EU, as described in our Help Center. Reporting directly through the Vimeo platform is the most efficient way for us to review the content.
For other DSA-related questions or requests, users may submit a request through our Contact Form.
If you believe we have taken action on your account or content in error, you may submit an appeal using our Appeals Form. In your appeal, please (1) identify the content at issue (including the URL, if available), and (2) explain why you believe the decision was incorrect.
Legal Representative (Article 13)
For purposes of the DSA, Vimeo has appointed a legal representative in the European Union:
The legal representative may be addressed by EU Member State authorities, the European Commission, and the European Board for Digital Services in relation to compliance with the DSA.
Terms and Content Moderation (Article 14)
Vimeo's Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Community Guidelines set out the rules governing the use of our services, including restrictions on content and enforcement measures.
These policies describe the types of content that are not permitted and the actions Vimeo may take in response to violations.
Transparency Report (Article 15)
The information in this report is accurate and complete to the best of Vimeo’s knowledge as of February 27, 2026 and has been compiled using the systems and data available at the time of reporting. We are committed to continuously improving our reporting processes, data quality, and content moderation systems.
Due to current technical limitations, the data is presented in aggregated form at a global level and includes activity across all Vimeo service tiers (Enterprise, Paid Self-Service, and Free). We are working to enhance data granularity and intend to provide more detailed segmentation in future reports.

Information on Content Moderation Decisions (Article 17)

These notifications include the type of action taken, the basis for the decision, and information about available options for redress.
