In this update, you’ll find two brand-new games – Tult 64 and Iowa Jack and the Temple of Gloom – as well as a slew of classic COMPUTE!’s Gazette titles and, *drum roll*, all the previously missing Cascade “Cassette 50” games! As a fitting bonus, there are also several Phoenix Ware games originally created for the “Cassette 50” Charity Competition.

After over a year of waiting, Lemon64 is very proud to present to you the third installment of Fun and Games Programming in Assembly. This time we are looking at a fun Public Domain arcade space shoot 'em up, called Galaxo Blast. The tutorial covers all the features based on setting up the game project using a machine code monitor, working with Turbo Macro Pro with 512K (or higher) RAM expansion. We will be examining the game code code and also take a look at making a front end for it and then pack/crunch everything ready for release. This special feature is split into 7 chapters. It is time to strap yourself into a space ship, go into space and go blast those evil alien ships to pieces.
