Sometimes, the support our customers need goes beyond their insurance policy 💙 Our customer service teams speak with our customers every day, and in 2024 they recognised an opportunity – that those experiencing domestic abuse needed more support. Working with Women's Aid Federation of England and Smart Works Charity we introduced a domestic abuse support pathway for our direct insurance customers. With Women’s Aid training our Specialist Support teams to understand how to spot the signs of abuse, listen with empathy and respond with care. Because everyone deserves to feel safe, heard and supported. See how we’re supporting survivors: https://lnkd.in/eGkD2Xap Rachael Gagan

Let’s talk about mental health and AI 🧠🤖 At AXA, we’ve been researching mental wellbeing for six years. Our latest AXA Mind Health Report reveals a sobering reality: 1 in 3 UK adults are impacted by poor mental health – the worst affected in Europe. Britts are actively seeking solutions. Nearly half turn to AI tools for support and 57% report satisfaction with the guidance they receive. But alarmingly, 27% received AI recommendations that led them to engage in harmful behaviour. AI is powerful. It offers 24/7 access, anonymity, and can be a tool for self-reflection. Those are real benefits. But AI has limits. Empathy, human judgement, and professional expertise remain essential for mental health support. We believe the future of mental wellbeing isn't about choosing between technology or human support. It's about recognising the role of both and making sure everyone has access to the help they need in the way that suits them best.
